Pam, I think you are right in your feelings.  It is Popeye's special place and my feeling is he shouldn't be disturbed.  I know it's tough to stand up to one's mother, but sometimes we just have to let our moms know we can make our own decisions and if it's not something they agree with, they just have to deal with it.  If your husband would offer to make a place for your mom's dog when the time comes in another place, then she could fix it to represent the things her baby loved.<br>
