While my houndage would NEVER stoop to chewing on window sills, they have
indulged in quite a bit of scultping of the corners of the kitchen
drawers.  I highly recommend painting such tempting surfaces with
tobasco sauce, or, if red doesn't match your decor, Bitter Apple Furniture
paste.  The tobasco sauce stopped mine from eating their wicker beds
(this was MANY years ago when we bought such foolish things as wicker dog
beds), and the furniture paste did the trick when they decided the flap
