font-family:Arial'>We just got home from the Upper Peninsula of Michigan and I
was able to get a basset fix while there. It is in the very small town of <st1:City
w:st="on"><st1:place w:st="on">Grand Marais</st1:place></st1:City> that we
stayed and we were leaving the lodge where we had had breakfast and there was a
couple checking out of their room and my DH says look Marty there’s a basset.
I swung the car around and put the window down and asked if I could have a
basset fix. They may have thought it weird but they allowed us to pet him. He
was five years old and his name was Wilbur and a swwetheart.Of course I checked
to see if they we’re droolers and they were not so I explained it to them
and my DH told them about the waddles in <st1:State w:st="on">Wisconsin</st1:State>
and <st1:State w:st="on"><st1:place w:st="on">Illinois</st1:place></st1:State>,
they said they would check it out. The husband said the brown truck never came
to their house.<o:p></o:p></span></font></p>

font-family:Arial'>Today on our way home we went through the town of <st1:City
w:st="on">Shawano</st1:City>, <st1:State w:st="on"><st1:place w:st="on">Wisconsin</st1:place></st1:State>
and the car in front of us had a vanity plate on that said DROOLER and had
stuffed bassets in the back window. If I could have I would have followed her
but I didn’t want to be arrested as a stalker.<o:p></o:p></span></font></p>
