bassets are timid of are surounded by more of a static field ,that the bassets 

are picking up on? I wonder if they were willing to try the wearing dryer sheets 

thing, if it would help? These are obviously dog loving people that are being 

dissed by your bassets and I feel bad that they are missing out on all the 

smooshiness! It could be worth a shot!    Debbie and the
