<DIV><STRONG>I sure know how to start a conversation. I opened Pandora's
box. I have had many a kind email and some not so nice. It is sure a
mixed bag of advice. However, I am going to hang in there. I
am not sure I said this, but my husband has had lots of bassets over his 59
years. So he does know a trick or two too. Chloe is really a
very nice girl and I feel she is worth the effort. She will be 8
months old on Tuesday and from what I had received in emails, she has a ways to
go. I was told they do not get their brains delivered till about the second
bday. Yes it is true I am a cat lover, but I also love dogs
too. I am not prejudice in any way. And yes I was blessed with
one wild child. She is an adult now, going to school to be a Registered
Nurse, but believe me, she put me thru total and utter hell growing
up. All the while I was dealing with a severe mental illness and major
arthritis and scoliosis in my back. I am no light weight believe me.
If I can get thru all that and still be somewhat sane, I can surely get thru
this. As they say, this too shall pass. I have endured
more in my almost 49 years than most will in a lifetime. But I am a tough
ole' broad. I want to thank everyone for all their thoughts, wisdom, and
advice, positive or negative. It is a wonderful thing. I am always
