My daughter had to make an emergency trip to the
vet Saturday morn with her Golden Retriever. He was showing signs of being
poisoned. The only thing they could figure out was, they have toads in their
back yard and Chase had been plaing with them. He's fine now, but very lucky she
got him on to the vet. I have no idea what kind of toads they are, but we live
in Missouri. We get toads around our pool in the summer, but the bassets don't
pay much attention to them. I have had to pick them out of the skimmer before
and I make sure I wash my hands really good because reptiles can carry
diseases.
