<DIV>Kathy Riker's 8 year old basset boy, Spanky, had to be rushed to the critical care vet yesterday in NJ, or maybe in PA. Anyway, Spanky is very ill, and had to have one transfusion. He will perhaps get another one today.</DIV>

<DIV>Kathy is kind of stuck out here at the Oregon Coast on her vacation. Please send prayers and drool for Spanky. Kathy is a good friend to rescue and a yearly visitor to the Oregon Coast. Her vet said there is nothing she could do now even if she could get a flight back home (at less than $2000).</DIV>

<DIV>The Colvin dogs are sending their best drool to Spanky. Stella has some kind of allergy, so she's got a lot of drool and other stuff to send.</DIV>
