<div>Mom here. Henry is also a leave it/take it bassett. A year ago, we were on vacation at the beach with my son and his family. Henry was doing the basset grab and run - I was so afraid that he would get one of my grandchildrens fingers. I had been to the emergency room once with a deep cut on a finger from one of his grab and runs. My son got all the adults together showed us what to do and within 2 or three days, Henry would leave it! I was amazed. That's not to say that he won't take things if you don't tell him to leave it! His greatest coup was at the Brood Ramble when he snagged a bag of treats out of a teenagers hand and ran..... treats were flying in every direction..;...it looked like an Easter egg hunt for Bassets. By the time the teenager gave up, all Henry was left with was an empty bag. </div>
