Hi Everyone,
Wondering if there is anyone in Maine/New Hampshire that has had any experience with this specialty veterinary hospital? http://www.maineveterinaryreferralcenter.com/
Lilly is going to be referred to Dr. Marta Agrondia. Since Lilly and Daisy went on the "3 day event" earlier this summer, Lilly hasn't been walking just right. She has had a constant limp and is in
pain. She has had an x-ray that shows displasia, but nothing that should be causing this kind of distress to me - I mean Lilly! She has been treated for Lyme, has been on Tramadol and Previcox.
She gets the most relief from the Tramadol. Se is only 2, so a lifetime of drugs isn't really an option I want to have for her....

Our regular vet's office has two vets, and each has reviewed all the records - both feel she needs to be seen by a neuro or orthopedic specialist. I live in a rather remote area, so access to these
specialists is difficult at best. Scarborough is about 3.5 hours from where I live. If I am going that far, should I be looking at a specialist in the Boston area? Is there a specialist in New Hampshire?
One thing that "bothers" me if you will, is that the professionals at this hospital haven't been here that long. Perhaps - nothing to worry about, but I wouldnt want to see someone so "new". What
about the specifics of Bassets? As you can see, my head is speeding around in thoughts....

If anyone can offer any assistance, or guidance, I would very much appreciate it.

Drool to all that need it, the girls are enjoying raw bones on the deck!!
