We originally went to for assessment of the cervical and lumbar area where he is having pain. While being examined he had a focal seizure, which now really explains a lot of the symptoms I have been seeing over the past couple of months. He was placed on Potassium Bromide. I am wondering if any other droolers are on this med and if so, how long before you started seeing any improvement? He is going to be on a loading dose of 2,260 mg for 5 days, then a maintenance dose of 791 mg. I have read the side effects and Neurologist felt this was the safest med to try first. Any help would be appreciated. We really don't have a need for drool as Momma is feeling a whole lot
better now that we have a diagnosis.
