<table cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0" border="0" ><tr><td valign="top" style="font: inherit;"><DIV>It is with a horribly sad heart that I write that we sent our Sammy to the bridge yesterday. Some of you may remember that he is the one that I have posted about having aggression and seperation issues. Well, things happened and we made the gut wrenching decision to send him to the bridge. </DIV>

<DIV>We have never had to make such a hard decision in our lives. We were there with him at the end...and we are both glad that we were there. But life without Sammy has been horrible. My fiance and I sat on the couch yesterday after we got home from the vet and sobbed and thought of the good times. But then we said to each other, what do we do now? Sammy dictated our lives, whether good or bad. He told us when we fed him, when to walk, when to play. The house is so quiet without him.</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>We only had Sammy 13 months. But if felt like forever! He was the most beautiful and comical basset! He definately kept us on our toes. He loved to be sassy but he also was a lover and so much of a lap dog. He constantly sought out our love, but he never grew to trust us either. </DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
