<DIV>So, its beginning to be winter around here in KC. We had our first
light snow last night. This reminded me of a suggestion from a wonderful
drooler ( I lost your email and can't remember who it was) to use the PAWS
rubber boots - they're like balloons. </DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>I got a box of 12 this evening at a local posh pet store called Land of
Paws - its a good thing I took the dogs in for sizing. At amazon.com
it recommended the medium size for 2-3 inch paws and wow were they small.
The size jump to large is quite big but now the dogs will have room for
their feet to flatten out completely as they walk. We only tried one on
and of course Freddie went "tripod" on me. Hopefully once he has all four
on he'll be forced to walk. Last year we'd barely get around the block and
he'd go tripod because the snow and ice and salt would get in between his
pawsies and he'd just quit walking. I'd have to carry his butt
home! Now he's just about 40# and I don't want to carry him around the
block, so we'll try these. </DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>If anyone else uses these, please let me know how well they work or don't
work for you. They're about $17-$18 at this store and just $13.99 online
but once you add the $7 shipping, they cost more online.</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>Keep pawsies crossed that these work! If Ellie doesn't get her walkies she
gets MEAN at her Freddie.</DIV>
