You can use one leg that's been cut off a pair of pantyhose- STUFF it with towels, rags etc. until it's the right size. Tie each end closed and then use a safety pin to keep it on the basset's neck- do NOT tie it on as you will probably not be able to untie the knots and would have to slip the collar over their head to get it off. Easy to make a new one when needed- and the 'stuffing' can washed and re-used.<BR>
