He has aspiration pneumonia. <br>The thinking is he may have aspirated during a seizure. He is feeling a little<br>better today, but he has a way to go before he is out of the woods yet. <br>The x-ray shows a large consolidation in the right lower lung. His breathing <br>is much better, though he still has the problem with his temperature <br>dropping which causes him to have labored breathing. He is on rest, <br>but I don't have the heart to keep him in the x-pen. <br>He isn't being that active and is sleeping a lot. As long as he<br>is resting on his own I think it is better to have him be comfortable and<br>close where I can watch him. The other kidz are
being great with him and <br>give him snooters and sniffies and being really quiet around him. Teeka <br>kitty is being the little nurse and sleeps beside him and washes him up. It amazes me<br>how they all know he needs to rest and have even toned down their play so he <br>can rest.<br><br>I know the drool is working because this morning he decided that I needed <br>to be up at 5:30. I stumbled out of the bed because he was insistent that I get up. <br>Tucker went straight to the dog pantry (yep they have their own pantry) and sat <br>in front of it staring at the upper part. I guess Tucker decided to have one<br>of those "cookies" he hasn't felt like eating. That was a heart warming moment for<br>me that brought more tears on. At least time they were tears of joy.<br><br>Tucker and I both thank everyone for the drool and prayers that are helping him<br>recover. The power of drool and prayers is
