Hi have a Rainbow, and if it died tomorrow, I would go into debt again to have another.&nbsp; I love the power head on this machine.&nbsp; The water disposal can be a pain in the butt, but I take it out to the edge of the property and dump it.&nbsp; The hair is good stuff for bird&#39;s nests, and often see them (once the mess dries out) pulling on it and flying away.&nbsp; I have terrible allergies, and this machine makes it possible for me to have pets.<br>
<br>Our Daisy has this reddish looking skin under her front legs, up close to her body.&nbsp; It doesn&#39;t smell, or irritate her, so I haven&#39;t worried about it.&nbsp; It does look strange though.&nbsp; <br><br>We have a kiddie pool for the bassets.&nbsp; They love it in the summer.&nbsp; It isn&#39;t deep enough for them to &quot;swim&quot; in, but they can launch themselves into the cool water and lay around and cool off.&nbsp; Do be very careful of a basset in the water, it is very dangerous.&nbsp; A couple of years ago, Daisy broke through the ice in a ditch that was about 3 feet deep and very wide.&nbsp; It was in a subdivision that had a road recently built.&nbsp; It took DH by surprise, then of course he had to get wet in the middle of the winter to save her from the incident.&nbsp; Please be careful with deep water and a basset.&nbsp; <br>
