I never post to the list but I read every digest that comes my way whether it is
informative or entertaining and hopefully both. I would hope that today
everyone could just take a look at what they are doing and saying and in the
meantime forgetting that this list is supposed to be a basset "family".
Think about that word "family". I had a sister once who was my complete
opposite all our lives. We didn't agree on many things but we were always
sisters and now that she is gone I miss her terribly. Is it any different
than my household with Lucy the basset and Daisy the big yellow lab who
occasionally like to growl at each or with my 2 cats who Lucy loves to chase but
the sleep side by side in front of the fireplace. </FONT></DIV>

<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>I think as a basset family we can get thru this
without anyone leaving because as I said......it's just "family".</FONT></DIV>

<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>Every so often I look at a chocolate lab on my
refrigerator and the caption underneath says "May I always be the kind of person
that my dog thinks I am". To that I say "amen".</FONT></DIV>
