<DIV>Okay, I don't normally post either, for fear of getting my a** chewed out; however, I couldn't help this one. R. Groves comment on "NCBR" flying an injured Basset for help did it for me! First of all, the name of the organization is not NCBR and secondly, I went back on the archives and checked and no where did I see where anyone asked for a single penny for her care, fuel for the flight, etc. All I saw was someone, as we all do at various times, asking for healing drool for this poor baby that was hit by a car and left to die. The gentlemen that flew her to her new home volunteered his time to do this and I think he's to be commended highly.</DIV>

<DIV>Slyvie has a right to her opinion as we all do. I enjoy the Basset speak - if you don't - that's fine. I don't read every post because sometimes, frankly, I don't have any knowledge of what's being talked about. I cry for your babies that are sick and those that have left for the Bridge. I rejoice when you get a new baby, whether he/she is a rescue or you bought him/her. Leslie, if you type in capitals - SO BE IT! It doesn't bother me one little bit. I don't care about capital letters, small case letters, bad spelling, etc. - it doesn't matter. No one is perfect!</DIV>
