Where Dyson's are concerned peridically you need to just put the Dyson on it's side and sit down and just pull fibers off the long roller. I never disconnect anything. I have been doing this since another Dyson owner mentioned it to me. If mine make a weird sound I do this and I have never had any problem with mine and I have had it I guess since 2004. I will say I like the Animal the best. My mom gave me the animal hand-held for Christmas and I like it a lot for quick jobs. I'm a [very] happy Dyson Animal owner. I use mine at least every other day. Words cannot describe the animal hair in our home. Lisa,Wednesday and Boot<RTE_TEXT></RTE_TEXT></body>
