<div>Us too....It's official....Trixie is a Gareis girl....a gal contacted me yesterday through OBR inquiring on Trixie and hubby just couldn't part with her. He even said we could get another foster if we could keep Trixie! Trixie has been our foster since September and truth be told I don't think she would do well anywhere else. Not that she wouldn't go to a home just a loving and caring as ours, but she loves hubby and curls up with the girls. And I love her wet kisses in the morning...and her wet ears after she drinks....she isn't unlike my Sierra who passed away last Feb 6th, 2008. We are happy and just like Carmen I too would love to come into some money and become a haven for hounds who need a home - <br>

And as always the Gareis girls are slinging lots of drool to all who have lost their precious hound and for all those in need!<br>

Right now what he's wearing is a 'cheap' tag that reads "MARS Foster Dog" with my number and his name taped to the other side. He's getting his own this week. What he's getting has his info/number in the front and our vet's info/number on the back and is nearly twice as thick as the ones you buy at the pet stores. So he has a permanent home now. <br>

Now I just wish I could win the lotto and build a place I can set up as a sanctuary for senior bassets, something like House of Puddles. More bassets like him are out there and I can't do anything about it. <br>
