<div> <br /> Hi All, </div> <div> </div> <div>I just wanted to
let everyone know that Deuce is up for Basset of the Week. I don't
even know where to start or end to tell you how much this boy means to
me. He is the light of my life, the reason I enjoy everyday, and the
keeper of my soul. He is a very demanding, energetic, positively a pain
in my butt 5 year old. In the picture, he is stretched out between 2
huge dog beds. In fact his brother Rowdy was standing there try to
figure out how to step over him, so he could lay down and take a nap.
Deuce has mastered slave training down to a science, to the point
that you don't even know he has trained you. For example, I take them
with me on the weekends to the BF's house, and even there he has mastered
the art of slave training. My BF's son and his girlfriend was laying
on the couch, and there comes Deuce, who by the way isn't happy unless he is
laying on the couch. Well he looks at the corner of the couch, and
back at BF's son, and then back at the corner of the couch, and so
forth. Well it took all of 30 seconds of his hypnotizing eyes and the
BF's son gets up and makes his girlfriend get up and move over and then pats
the couch and says, "come on get up here." I just sat there in
amazement and watch the whole thing play out. Deuce happily jumps on
the couch and goes to sleep, and the son and girlfriend try and rearrange
themselves to get comfortable again. I am hopelessly in love with him,
and when I think about him and his brother during the day, it's always with
a warm heart and smile. They truly have given me so much unconditional
love and ask for nothing in return. My life would not be so happy and
filled with so much love if I didn't have them, to share it with me.
