<p class=MsoNormal>Just wanted to give you a quick update on Betsy now Bessie
that Droopy Basset Hound Rescue picked up from a shelter. She was the 10
yr old that was painfully thin.. Since she has been in our care about 10 days-2
weeks now, she has gained a couple lbs. she has gained some muscle
tone back and can now negotiate stairs without being carried. She gets along
with the other dogs in the foster home and her initial bloodwork looks
normal. She should be strong enough by next week to have the lump under
her tail removed and her terrible (read gag here) teeth cleaned. She will also
have more blood work next week just to be sure this gal is ok. If
