Be 100% sure your cutters are 100% SHARP. One thing I have learned since I started working in grooming is that those things get dull very fast. I know they cost $ but replace them often and keep a spare new pair in a drawer someplace. The sharper they are the less likely it is that they will splinter the nail.<br>
