There's something really wierd about combining the first two of these items in one post. I don't know if I feel worse about the human or the hound, which just shows you how warped I am about bassets.

But the hounds will sling plenty of drool towards Montana and hope that it hits Leslie right where she needs it. They say they know she doesn't really have heart trouble. After all, look at all the hounds she has helped--that proves she has a big heart that loves hounds. Drew and I, having limited drool, will be praying for her.

We were sorry to hear that Doc went to the Bridge. Twice he got to be our Secret Pawtner, and he was a very special guy to us. Drool is also heading to New York state, to heal his mama and papa and all the four-footed critters of his household.

Finally, those of you who occasionally contact the Dashing Bassets, please note our new e-mail address, which isn't much different from the old one. Pretty soon this will be the only address, so change your address books, if we've made it into them.
Pam, with Drew, food slave to the Dashing Bassets
