The Vet was unable to determine if MacKenzie had Pano or a Tic virus. Both had pretty much the same symptoms. MacKenzie would get listless, and limp with her front paw. She'd get a fever and wouldn't want to play with her buddies. The first time they gave her a shot of anti-inflammatory medication - and it was like magic. She also got some anti-inflammatory pills. She came home fiesty. Then a month later - the same thing. This time she got anti-inflammatory pills AND an antibiotic. The next day she was back to herself. Then another month went by - and it was back. This time we had her on the same anti-inflammatory pills and a much longer dose of antibiotics. It's been 2 months and no recurrence. The boss is back and here to stay!
