<DIV>If bird seed were harmful, my two dogs would  be dead.  I leave 

them out to do their jobs or work off some steam, and all they do is eat the 

bird seed, tons of it.  Believe me, it all comes out in the end.  I 

spend a fortune on good dog food, and all they want is the birdseed.  I 

will be glad when it warms up, and the feeders will be put away till
