As I sit here introducing all the buppies who have made it to the web site for
adoption, I have been informed that Nickie has left us after fighting her
illness for two weeks.<br>
Nickie was only 10 weeks old as she made her journey to the Bridge and had been
adopted only to spend a single night in her home before she was rushed in due
to illness.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class=MsoNormal>Nickie was very popular from the day she was born! She
was the biggest of the litter and laid across the entire bottom of
Bella’s belly. How do we know this you ask? Well, during the
emergency c-section the back of her nicked while making the incision, thus her
name. Everyone fell in love with this little girl and I had to tell so
many potential adopters, sorry, she’s pending. Martha loved this
little girl and I teased her mercifully to just take her home!<br>
Nickie was an alpha from the minute she was born, very playful and another
reason the term ankle biter was coined. She was constantly under my feet
attacking my feet unmercifully and was she ever a feisty one.<br>
Her sweet face and loving ways will be missed tremendously by all of us at
BHRA.<br>
