<table cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0" border="0" ><tr><td valign="top" style="font: inherit;"><DIV>The beginning of your post scared me.  You see one of our fosters was adopted by a couple that just lost their prior basset.  The husband was walking their basset on the sidewalk when the driver of a speeding car lost control.  The basset was killed - the owner barely escaped injury.</DIV>
