<DIV><FONT face=Baltimore color=#800000 size=4>One of my dachshunds use to get
alot of dandruff. Sometimes she looked like someone whose sunburn is
peeling. I did an elimination process and found that treats with
molasses was causing the problem. She has been dandruff free for
almost 4 years. Suddenly she started again. My new puppy came with a
bag of the frozen Bil-Jack to sprinkle on his kibble. I bought a
couple of bags to top dress all the dogs kibble. I read the bag and
sure enough there is molasses in it. Molasses seems like a silly
thing to trigger Dandruff but it sure does in Patsy.</FONT></DIV>

<DIV><FONT face=Baltimore color=#800000 size=4>Seizures. 20 years ago I
got a little mixed breed terrier from the local shelter. He started having
seizures right off. I wondered why such a cutie was in the pound. I
guess the seizures were the reason. We kept him off meds for about 5
years until he went into cluster seizures. He lived to be 14 and until he
was 10 the original dosage of pheno did a good job. </FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Baltimore color=#800000 size=4>A couple of things seemed to
trigger a seizure. Ice Cream and Pork. So we learned not to treat
him with those food items. </FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Baltimore color=#800000 size=4>At the time I didn't know
anything about vaccines but I know now that the Lepto vaccine can trigger
seizure disorders especially in small dogs. I don't think that was Corky's
problem, since he was afraid of basement steps when we got him I always figured
he either fell or was throw down some steps and he had a head trauma
problem.</FONT></DIV>

<DIV><FONT face=Baltimore color=#800000 size=4>I have had 12 dogs since little
Corky (all pure-bred) and (praise the Lord) have never had another seizure
dog. It is heartbreaking to watch them go through that.</FONT></DIV>
