<DIV> HI BEV,</DIV>

we can relate to the coyote problem also, for the last 6 months we have had an
alpha male that has been jumping our four foot split rail fence and marking his
territory, he has left his mark on the side of our garage, the corner of our
house, our woodpile and on the neighbors house behind us. YES, they can
clear a 4 foot fence quite easily. I have had the Animal control officer
out here and it is definitely a big alpha male, boy, you should see how
high this sucker can PEE !!!! it gives Maggie and evil Annie something to
sniff. I have a fenced in back yard and I am always out there with my girls on a
leash at night, I also have some very mean raccoons, so better to be
safe than sorry, I dont take any chances. if a female coyote has pups she will
attack, if she feels threatened !!!! we have them all over Maumee
anymore, they are every where, there have been articles in our news paper where
one jumped the fence and stole a small dog while the lady was out planting
flowers in her yard.</DIV>
