<DIV><FONT size=2 face=Arial>The girls and I got home early Wednesday
afternoon. The 1400 mile trip from Daphneyland took us 3 days and 2
nights. Both Holly Noelle & Isabella were good travelers. Holly
walked up the steps into the back seat of the Trail Blazer, laid down and went
to sleep. Isabella cried a little the first day, but settled down after an
hour or so. By the 3rd day she didn't make a sound, just went to sleep
like Holly.</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2 face=Arial></FONT> </DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2 face=Arial>The both slept thru the night in the hotels and let
me know when they needed to go out. They play well together and did the
Basset 500 for me last night. They will both eat and drink out of the same
bowls, at the same time. This wouldn't be a problem except that Isabella
needs to put on some weight, and Holly doesn't.</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2 face=Arial></FONT> </DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2 face=Arial>I left them alone for about 20 minutes and they
didn't touch a thing while I was gone.</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2 face=Arial></FONT> </DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2 face=Arial>Isabella slept in bed with me on the trip home b/c
she cried and I needed to sleep so I could drive. Last night she jumped up
on my bed and was ready to settle in for the night. I picked her up and
put her on 1 of their beds and she went right to sleep, no crying at all.
Both girls slept thru the entire night and I woke up in the morning
before they did.</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2 face=Arial></FONT> </DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2 face=Arial>Holly lets you know when there is something or
someone within a 3 mile radius :) She baroooos loud enough to wake up the
neighborhood, which she did last night around 10PM....LOL All
I need to do is find the "word" that lets her know that everything is okay so
she will be quiet. It may take some time, but we will figure it
out.</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2 face=Arial></FONT> </DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2 face=Arial>The girls went to the Vet yesterday and both are in
perfect health. They don't have a problem with heartworm or fleas at
Daphneyland b/c of the location, but needed to get both on preventatives now
that they are in Texas. Holly weighed in at 54 lbs. and Isabella was 30
lbs. Holly announced their entrance and every person in the office
came out to see who had made that big barooooooo.</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2 face=Arial></FONT> </DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2 face=Arial>I think that Holly thinks that Isabella is a puppy
b/c she let Isabella take her biscuit last night, right out of her mouth
:)</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2 face=Arial>Holly just came over to me and I gave her another
treat. Holly walked into the other room with that one....LOL</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2 face=Arial></FONT> </DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2 face=Arial>Once I get unpacked and get caught up with normal
things I will start taking some photos of the two of them together.</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2 face=Arial>I will do another post about my 4 days at
Daphneyland, what a wonderful experience that was.</FONT></DIV>
