I have one more question regarding Rocky, the
newest member of our family. HOW do I get Maggie (12 yr. old basset rescue we
adopted 3 yrs.ago) to stop attacking him? Maggie is used to being the "top dog"
around here and isn't willing to give up her spot. She is a lot bigger (55 lbs)
than he is (34 lbs) and will attack him for pretty much any reason (just for
passing by her). Then an all out battle breaks out and they have to be
separated. Molly, the beagle will just run to a corner and wait it out. She
loves them both and just wants everyone to get along. Maggie is very jealous of
Rocky getting any attention from us at all and clearly would rather he would
just go away, but they are all here to stay, so....how do I get these two to get
along? I thought the new guy was the problem but now I see Maggie is just being
a bully.
