We went to ABC Basset Hound Rescue's Waddle again this year. It was really fun and the weather was perfect.  I purchased some things from the slobber shoppe, bid on one chinese raffle basket out of 61 (but didn't win it), volunteered to sell tickets, my son carried half the banner, my daughter was the mascot, and we walked in the parade. We were part of the OzFest for Chittenango. The DJ was really good and quite funny too. I took some pictures that I put on my facebook account, but have not managed to put on a public page yet.  Maggie (my 9 1/2 year old basset) made it through about 90% of the parade, but then decided she had enough and climbed up on the grass by the sidewalk and layed down. We had been passed by the pooped pup truck already. Oh, I forgot that Maggie also climbed up part way through and took a potty break and also tried to get some kid's ice cream too. Mazzie did ok on the parade walk.  We won first place in the lucky 7 drawing. We had a great time and are already looking forward to next year's waddle. Also, we reserved our calendar date today and there are still some left. Thank you Ellie.  I will manage to post some pics later on and then I will post a link.<br clear="all">
