Ms.Brandy- who has numerous health issues- has been on a grain free kibble for a few years now. She does get grain when she gets 'shared' food from her humans.<BR>
I have been buying BG since she refused the Evo that she was eating last year some time. This past week our local pet store where I buy the BG moved from one location to another. Of course I ran out of kibble while they were moving. I went to Central Tractor not expecting to find anything- but did. I bought a small bag of Taste of the Wild ( bison) and was pleasantly surprised to pay almost $8 less for the bag. Both Ms.B and Elvis will eat it- of course I do have to doctor it up a bit- neither would touch just plain dry kibble with a ten foot paw! I am pleased with the information some of you have found out about it and am thinking of mixing it with the BG to save a bit of moolah.<BR>
On another note- I now have to mix Ms.B's pills in liversausage- she absolutely will not eat them in cream cheese anymore. Won't even eat it if it's plain. Lately even getting the liversausage down her hatch is an issue. Tonight I placed two 'laced' balls of liversausage on her dinner. And then found them placed neatly side by side next to the bowl after she'd finished! There was not a mark on them- John laughed and said she probably flicked them out of the bowl with the tip of her tongue.<BR>
That is when I resort to blackmail- she just can't refuse my youngest son- when he hands her something to eat- she'll eat it- even if she doesn't want it.<BR>
Elvis weighs about 59# and Ms.B a little bit more than that. Both get 1/2 cup of kibble plus about a 1/4 cup of cooked beef or chicken mixed in twice a day. They do get some treats during the day- as well as 'shared' bites from most of us.<BR>
