<DIV><FONT size=2 face=Arial>If I've learned anything this week it would be that
I need to keep my camera close at hand at all times. It all started last
Sunday when opening a box for the girls from Auntie Sandy. The box arrived
on Saturday but the girls were having such a good time sniffing the box that we
didn't open it until Sunday morning. I sat of the floor with Holly
on one said and Isabella on the other. As I took things out of the
box I let them both see what it was. I put the empty box down and was
looking at something when all of a sudden I saw Holly standing up in front of
me, with the empty box stuck on her head. She never made a sound, just
waited for me to hold the box so she could back out of it :)</FONT></DIV>

<DIV><FONT size=2 face=Arial>A few hours later I was sitting in front of my
computer and out of the corner of my eye I saw one of the dog pillows walking by
me. Isabella had put her head inside the pillowcase and was just walking
around with the pillow over her head. </FONT><FONT size=2 face=Arial>When
I removed the pillow from her head she just looked at me like she was saying
"What??". Two photo opportunities missed in the same day

<DIV><FONT size=2 face=Arial>The next day I found a ball out in the yard.
I brought it in and washed it and gave it to the girls. They played with
it for quite awhile, but then Isabella decided that she would try to eat
it. It was like a nerf ball, so she was able to tear it apart. As
soon as I saw what was going on I swapped her a stuffie for the ball, and picked
up the pieces that were on the floor. Since they had such fun with the
ball I went into the other room and got out a wiggly giggly ball that Holly had
received as a gift. They played with that ball for almost 2 hours, and the
ball giggled for 2 hours...LOL The next morning the first thing they
went to play with was that ball. I think I need to buy one for Isabella so
she can have it when she goes home next month :)</FONT></DIV>

<DIV><FONT size=2 face=Arial>This past week it was very hot here, triple digits
for 5 days, 103 on Thursday & Friday. This meant that the girls had to
do all their running inside the house. They do the Basset 500 a few times
everyday, from one end of the house to the other, under tables, just
everywhere. They were doing their evening run on Tuesday when it got very
quiet. I got up to see what was going on and Isabella had my size 11
wellies, with the Bassets on them, in her mouth. As soon as she saw me she
opened her mouth and the boot fell down next to her...it was almost as big as
she was. She looked surprised, like she had no idea what it was doing next
to her. She is smart as a whip. If you tell her no she will not do
it again, she may find something else, but will never do the same thing
twice. The wellies are still sitting where they were originally and she
hasn't gone near them again.</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2 face=Arial></FONT> </DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2 face=Arial>On Friday morning they were finishing up their
early morning run, and it got quiet again. I looked to see where they were
and there was Isabella under the end table in the living room, with the
electrical cord from the lamp wrapped around her big paw. Luckily she
stayed there until I was able to get there, unplug the cord, and get it
from around her foot. Since I wouldn't let her play with the cord she
decided to find something else to do :) About 15 minutes later I noticed a
throw rug in my living room....I don't have throw rugs in my living room.
Isabella had moved one of the rugs from the kitchen and was using it as a play
toy. She gave me that same puzzled look, like she had no idea how it got
there.</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2 face=Arial></FONT> </DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2 face=Arial>This morning I watched the video of Morse with the
cricket ball. When he barked both the girls ran to the front windows, put
their front paws on the window sills, stuck their noses thru the blinds and
start barking like crazy.</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2 face=Arial>When they realized that he wasn't on the
front lawn they went out to the yard to see if they could find Morse
there. They very disappointed that they weren't able to find
him.</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2 face=Arial></FONT> </DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2 face=Arial>They are just so much fun to watch. I will
really miss Isabella when she goes to her new home next month, and I'm sure that
Holly will miss her too. There's not a day that goes by that they don't do
something that makes me laugh.</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2 face=Arial>They are always ready to play when I get down on
the floor with them, and always ready for some love when we sit on the bedroom
floor at night before we go to bed. </FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2 face=Arial></FONT> </DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2 face=Arial>Hope everyone's week was as enjoyable as mine
was!!</FONT></DIV>

Morse?</FONT></DIV>

do!!</FONT></DIV>
