<div dir="ltr"><font face="Tahoma" color="#000000" size="2">Today is Huggie Bear's 7th birthday!! Where on earth did the time go? I remember like it was yesterday bringing this 10 month old adorable, skinny, little red and white bundle of ornery home to "foster".
I can't imagine life without her. She was the first naughty basset I'd ever been owned by and BOY was she naughty. She ate countless remotes, sunglasses, reading glasses pretty much anything that wasn't tied down. She table danced, drank from the porcelan
bowl, bedeviled our prissy Pwincess every chance she got and in general has entertained us and made us laugh every day since she came home to stay. She was declared OEBE by Noah Go Slowah before she was a year old-quite a feat and proudly wears her title
of Savage. She is notorious for having driven poor Fey Fey under the kitchen table while visiting at her house when the Pw. got married. She still refuses to be completely housetrained and if she doesn't get her way about something she will go to the ledge
behind the couch where Glenn displays stuff and throw something from the ledge into the foyer. If it's breakable all the better. She is stubborn, mulish if she doesn't want to come in and is one of the greatest loves of my life. At 7 she hasn't slowed down
much. Did I mention she's also one of the most cuddly, loveable, huggable creatures ever born? So to my sweet and cunning Huggie Bear-HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!! She'll have steak and salad for dinner tonight.</font></div>
