Has anyone ever had a dog diagnosed with a
pheochromocytoma? It is a type of adrenal gland tumor but from what I understand
it is not related to Cushings disease. My Nathan has been diagnosed with
Hypertension. All of his bloodwork is coming back fine but he is suffering from
signs of canine dementia so we have been running tests to see if there are any
underlying problems. The only thing we have come up with is that he has
high blood pressure. The pheochromocytoma was mentioned as a possible cause of
the high blood pressure. He is seeing a neurologist and they do not think he has
a brain tumor, although originally they did. Are there any medications that may
cause symptoms of high blood pressure? So far I haven't found anything on
the internet about meds causing high blood pressure. Any help is much
appreciated.
