<DIV><FONT size=2 face=Arial>Many years ago, I learned to take an extra
set of keys with me on any trip I made with a dog/s. The reason is so I
can leave the car running and have the AC on while I run into wherever.
Most the times, this need was created when I was transporting and had to pull
off to go to the bathroom. If the dogs were not getting out right then, I
wanted to doors locked while I was not there, along with the van running with
the AC. </FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2 face=Arial></FONT> </DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2 face=Arial>Down here there had been incidents where people
were coming along and letting dogs out of cars, hence the need to lock the
vehicle with no windows open for anyone to reach in and open a
door.</FONT></DIV>

<DIV><FONT size=2 face=Arial>I have had dogs lock me out by stepping on the
button, so there was another reason to carry an extra set of keys. </FONT></DIV>

<DIV><FONT size=2 face=Arial>One thing I would do also, when I have a
sunroof, is leave the AC on, and the roof open, even with an extra
set of keys. I can get in through the top if needed. Overboard?
Yeah maybe, but I am forgetful too, to the extreme that it
took a while to find a set of keys that were in my pocket. Please no
comments on this, I know! LOL!</FONT></DIV>
