Finally waded through the Drools that have accumulated over the past two weeks. So much has happened since then, so I'll say "drool to those who need it," and hope that's sufficient.

Went to visit family again, so the boys got to stay at their favorite resort. It took them a good 3 days to recover this time. They have so much fun. Unfortunately, I returned home to find that my cat's health had declined rapidly. She's always been a small kitty, and she'd been very active and happy when we left town. Friday afternoon found us at the vet with an 11 year old tortoiseshell calico kitty who was down to 4 lbs. After her examination, the vet determined that she was probably in the final stages of kidney failure and could even have kidney cancer. With a heavy heart, I decided that she'd had enough and that it was time to let her go. I picked up her ashes yesterday, so now I have to figure out a nice little tribute to her.

She and the boys never really interacted, so I don't think they even realize she's gone. It's hard enough for me to deal with, so I'm glad they don't have to.

--
Peace and drool,
