It has taken me a while to write this because it is so incredibly painful. On Monday, August 3, I lovingly escorted Henry John Deere to the Bridge. He was so depressed over losing his big sister, Oatmeal Raisin Cookie, he lost his will to live and was suffering so. He wouldn't eat, drink, stand up, play, go outside to go potty. He would only go into the unlit bathroom, close the door behind him all the way, lay down in the corner and stare into space all day and night. At times it was as if he didn't recognize me and would bite me really hard. The vet said there was nothing medically wrong with him and couldn't prescribe anything to help him. I held and kissed him as he went to the bridge and for 1 1/2 hours afterward. I still can't stop crying. I called him Mama's Little Boy Scout, Bear Cub #2, Hankie Bear...<BR>
