<DIV>Mommy here, It is a full time job following Evil Annie and Mags around the
yard pulling crap out of their mouth, I really thought that they would
eventually grow out of this obsession, but I am still waiting, My
older sister told me that they do this to get my attention and to ignore them
< No Way. I would be at the vets 7 days a week if I didn't watch
them, we are talking, sticks, leaves, rocks, bugs , toads, their favorite
are the Cicadas, you name it, if it's in the yard it goes in their
mouth ! and of course they go in opposite directions, so i am
yelling and screaming to " LEAVE IT " and they just look at me and
keep chewing like a cow chewing it's cud !</DIV>
<DIV>My first Basset Lucy never did this, and my sisters Bassets don't do
it either. what the hell happened ????? I usually end up tethering
them to a line . they only do it when I give them free run of the
yard. Evil Annie ate three " LIVE " Cicadas yesterday and then
got sick, puked up all three and one was still moving ! gross
!!!! then I almost vomited ! my gag reflux isn't what use to be
!!!! bwahahahaha !!!!</DIV>

ruptured disc and will probably need surgery, she is not responding to
