<div class=Section1>
<p class=MsoNormal>So, I do transports on occasion for my local rescue group …
yesterday I picked up a hound, who, nearly got himself killed and would’ve
taken me with him.. he got out of the collar and bolted for the main road …
thankfully he stopped and let me catch him, and keep in mind folks.. that’s
what happened *<b>he</b>* decided to stop, otherwise this hound was gone I’d
no hope of catching up with a roughly 2 year old basset-energizerbunny mix.. <o:p></o:p></p>
<p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class=MsoNormal>SO … the first part of the transport continues, hes
very calm & quiet riding in the back, of course I was also warned he vomits
… at least this time no one can blame my driving, its his natural…
so we get home.. and the energizerbunny emerges again.. and for the next 5
hours, that bunny-er-basset was non-stop <o:p></o:p></p>
<p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class=MsoNormal>He finally settled, we all went to sleep, at 3 am he wakes
me up … thanks kid.. I open the back door, he didn’t like the
doggie door much, and then I settle back in, him goes at the thing he thinks is
the water bowl yet again.. then its 5:30, and up again, no the door is still
open so he’s free to come and go, oh no, he’s just “up for
the day” now.. <o:p></o:p></p>
<p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class=MsoNormal>Over the next hour or so he made trips outside, inside,
ripped up some more stuffed toys, nudged his way inbetween me and my eldest who
seems to be having a few more senior moments (stiff tummy, grumbles when you
rub his back the wrong way, out comes the rimadyl again)… and suddenly I
start hearing this slightly louder crackling sound … no not a fire, but
that velum paper/plastic that is the “window” in envelopes…
sounds sorta like a cracklin’ fire.. yup.. junior bunny basset boy’s
got a big piece and rippin things again.. <o:p></o:p></p>
<p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class=MsoNormal>So he goes back to “his personal water bowl” to
drink some more.. then comes back with more rough housing … and finally I
said.. that’s it! I’m tired of you and that thing, I’m gonna
go poo in what you think is your personal little water bowl you little bas**** …
So I do.. and sure enough he comes in before the flush, noses the bowl
then looks up at me with his bulging basset eyes, then starts barking like a
mad man at the mess I’d made in HIS personal water bowl.. <span
style='font-family:Wingdings'>J</span><o:p></o:p></p>
<p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class=MsoNormal>Flushed and gone, 20 minutes later hes in that water bowl
again.. naughty boy.. lid gets closed, more barking at *<b>me</b>* the evil one
that blocks the bowl… and now at 10 am.. that’s it! …
time to finish this transport you hellion… your next foster or adopter
had better be young and energetic to match your spunk little boy.. <o:p></o:p></p>
<p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class=MsoNormal><span style='font-family:Wingdings'>J</span> dog help you,
you next foster or adopter, you’re gonna need it!<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p>
