Hi droolers and mucha da Lady Bianca's drool to all hounds that need a special touch right now...<BR>
For a few years, I've been reading the drool, and seldom post, because usually it's at work when I'm done with "things at hand." (I work the night shift) Having the drool has really made the dog ownership, that I "inheriterited" from my son, so VERY much more enjoyable.<BR>
Debbie, I just REALLY LOVE reading about your hounds 'venchurs, knowing your setting. Have to chime in on the latest one about the rodent. Every morning, when taking Bianca for a walk, I have to contend with her hunter instincts. (it has certainly built up the arm muscles!) Kitties and squirrels (and other varmits) ABOUND in this neighborhood!! The guy across the street is breeding lop-eared rabbits.<BR>
But, at my sister's house (I'm glad she still thinks it's cute!), da lady has made quite a few holes, looking for groundhogs, etc. I guess. And-last winter she brought me a live mouse. I'm still trying to forget that one. It was at night, and seemed so surreal!!<BR>
I've never had a dog like this--Every day, she wants to bury bones and things like that that somebody gives her. THANK YOU, THANK YOU to all!! (I can't really list names--would leave someone out-but Bev Z, Sandi W. and others come to mind--you know who you are...) I've really needed to hear about your expertise with these houndies.<BR>
