AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

Mice I can handle.
Rats?No way. Get out the shovel.
My first Belgian was an "if-it-moves, kill-it" kinda guy altho he never caught a squirrel: my friend's Belgian has to be muzzled when he runs in yards where there are squirrels, he is that fast. My Bassets are "If-it-moves-slowly-think-about-it-and-maybe-it-will-shuffle-off-and-we-won't-have-to-get-up" EXCEPT Conley who bravely barked and barked and barked at two dying Mason bees he found yesterday.(It is cold here. I think they would have lived once it warmed up-- which it never did-- except I did not want snorkel-brain to try to eat them, so I reluctantly killed the bees.) Also killed a 6 foot spider I caught crawling down the drape yesterday. I hate to do that, I usually return them to the WORLD, but this was huge and again, Bean-brain likes to tease the bugs. I just paid $138 for tests on Llewis and did not need an ER fee for a puppy with a head twice it's normal size because he decided to eat a wolf spider that disagreed with the plan.
