for getting sending this so late, but I am SO far behind in my DD readings that
I finally read this post… my groomer has been trained in this technique
and all of my hounds and my first dog (a pom-chi mix) have never had a problem
with it. My Erika (the pom-chi) was 16 years old when she had her teeth
cleaned this way and went home and ate dinner that night without any
