We lost one hound, Rosie, pulled from
Miami-Dade, after a week, passed away in our home from this, even after
being treated by the vet. Then the whole house got
infected with one old hound ending up in ICU at the vet for a full week.
Was lucky he came through as his went into pnuemonia. We stayed on
lock down for a few weeks.

During that time, no one seemed to know
exactly how to treat it well. I think they are using a combo of
doxycycline and pen-g to battle it now.

We have been seeing it down here for about 5 years
now? I think. Started with the greyhound kennels at the
tracks.

were going to be out and about.
