<DIV><FONT face=Calibri>My Janie Anne doesn't like water, so I can't imagine 

having a Basset this dirty,  What fun!  Janie won't even step into the 

kiddies' wading pool I got her.</FONT></DIV>

<DIV><FONT face=Calibri>After 2 days of snow here in Colorado, I was able to 

take Janie and Siobhan to the dog park yesterday morning.  Since I've only 

had Siobhan for a couple of months (foster failure?), I wasn't sure how she 

would react to 2 1/2 feet of snow on the ground.  She loves it!  Since 

she has longer legs than Janie, she was trailblazing for Janie, tearing around 

through the drifts and hopping like an antelope through the snow.</FONT></DIV>

<DIV><FONT face=Calibri>We got Elder Clara's cookbook the other day.  I 

love it.  There are so many recipes that I have made for years and now I 

have names for some of the things I used to call, Hamburger Glop and such.  

Now I have official Basset names for what I cook!  Believe me, I'm not a 

gourmet cook.  I especially like the recipe for "Da Brudderz Specul Pizza", 

now that's one I can handle.  Look it up!</FONT></DIV>

<DIV><FONT face=Calibri>Thanks so much, I know I'll be trying most of the 

recipes for years to come.</FONT></DIV>

<DIV><FONT face=Calibri>Last week I received an on-line coupon from 

KodakEasyShareGallery for $15.  I checked it out and, even though I'm no 

computer whiz, I was able to make a large coffee cup with 2 pictures of Janie 

and Siobhan on it for around $6.  It came and looks great.</FONT></DIV>

<DIV><FONT face=Calibri>Happy Safe Howloween to all and our prayers and 

drool are always out there for any and all Bassets and slaves who need 

it.</FONT></DIV>
