food list.  Even non-toxic foods can cause problems for the 

dogs.   Keep the turkey carcass or any cooked poultry bones away from 

the kids.  And <BR><BR>"...said AVMA President Roger Mahr, DVM. "Gravies, 

meat fats and poultry skin can readily cause stomach and intestinal upsets, and 

even lead to a life-threatening condition called pancreatitis in 

dogs."<BR><BR><BR>We wish everyone a safe, peaceful Thanksgiving.   

Bassets enjoy so much of every moment, even if it's luxuriating in tummy 

rubs,  finding joy in napping or dinner,  new smells on the same walk, 

or the adventure of a new route.   I think they know the true spirit
