Let me just start with . . . I have had Frazier for almost 6yrs
now & he has always done this . . . why it took so long to
ponder this, I have no idea . . . sleep deprivation maybe?

So anyway, after being woken yet again the other night by a
sudden violent jolting, I began wondering . . . no, not the usual
"what is he dreaming about" but "why does he only kick his
hind legs?"

I've had other taller breeds of dogs and they always moved front
& back legs like they were running in their dreams. Not Frazier,
he only kicks off with is back legs. His front legs never move.
So of course when he does this his butt is usually "butt-up"
next to some part of my body (more fun for me at 2am).

Is this a basset thing or just a quirky Frazier thing?

Barb (Asking myself why at 2am this topic seemed interesting?)
Frazier (Mommy moved & it messed up my dreaming)
Frances (Baby Angel ATB - no kicking, just skooching bedhog)
