to be able to enter a line or two about my basset(s)</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face="Baskerville Old Face" size=3> We lost our 11 year old
rescued tricolor female basset (CaseyMae) in April of this year
(09).</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face="Baskerville Old Face">She was so much a part of our family, we
still miss her so much!! Our youngest, when we got her, was in grad school
and could not take her with him, she was his originally. Then, she become
Dave's and mine!! Our little girl. Our oldest daughters both
were out of the nest. She loved us only the way basset lovers can
imagine.</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face="Baskerville Old Face"> 2 1/12 years ago we got another
basset, Tilly (Matilda). She is a red and white and we had the pick of the
litter from a backyard breeder! She has shorter legs and smaller face, but
is also adorable!! We love her with that basset love that is so
real!!</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face="Baskerville Old Face"> Just 3 months ago, a friend who
raises black labs, gave us a puppy!! Also a female. Her name is l
Little Black Phoebe. She will not be very big, the runt of the litter that
"nobody" picked. She and Tilly play so well together and actually play with all
the dog toys I have had for years!! I am gettin used to the longer walks
that labs need and the almost daily walks on the beach!! Tilly drags along
behind with her little legs sinking in the sand! She always wants to come
along; Tilly, like all bassets, cries when I leave and howls when I get
home!!</FONT></DIV>
