<DIV>OK, I am at my therapy pool yesterday and I get into this
argument with this women over Basset hounds, she started the
conversation, I DIDN"T ! any ways she informs me that "she
knows all too well about Bassets " they are "stupid " " smelly
" "obnoxious " "demanding " and "
incorrigible " WOW I am impressed, any ways she proceeds
to tell me that her daughter and husband just got rid of their
Basset </DIV>
<DIV>1 1/2 years old and assured everyone in the locker room that
she found it a good home, she said that the "dog " " wouldn't stop jumping
on people and was hyper " so they got rid of it, well , yesterday
there was a Basset hound in the paper that was surrendered to the Lucas County
animal shelter because it knocked down the husband and was
hyper hmmmmmmmmm so I asked her if that was the Basset that I just
read about in the morning newspaper that was given up to the animal shelter, by
the way, this is the same animal shelter that has been under
scrutiny because they put down over 2,300 dogs last year, it
is a ( KILL Facility ) she didn't answer me. !!!! by the way did I
mention that her daughter is a manager at a pet store and that is where she
bought the " cute Basset Puppy " ?? I told her it was a puppy mill dog and
she said that it wasn't ! I told her that most the dogs sold in pet stores
come from puppy mills and she assured me that she bought two pugs from her
daughters store !!!!! and they didn't come from puppy mills

<DIV>So today I am at the pool and I have my" Basset Hound Owner " shirt
on and this women ( same person ) looks at me and said "
oh I just love your shirt, aren't BEAGLES just the cutest
dogs ? " It say's BASSET on my shirt !!!!!! she called it
a " BEAGLE " I bet her Pugs are really chihuahuas !!!!!!</DIV>
